Celebrating B Corps & their powerful work

WRITTEN BY:

March is B Corp Month!

It’s a global campaign where the B Corp community celebrate what it means to be B Corp – and there’s plenty of room for new companies to join the journey.

Today, there are nearly 8,000 Certified B Corps employing over 700,000 workers in 93 countries around the world (source: B Lab UK – link in the comments). But what is B Corp and what does it mean?

Companies who are registered as B Corp have gone through an assessment process conducted by B Lab to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

According to YouGov, 61% of the British public agree that climate change is the biggest threat to civilisation. So, it’s more than overdue that companies start looking at their overall impact on the planet rather than just the profits for their stakeholders.

And it’s in their interest to take the leap – B Lab has said that businesses have seen great results from registering as B Corp including committed and motivated employees, increased customer loyalty, higher levels of innovation, and market leadership.

And customer loyalty is what we’re most passionate about at Mando. We work with some wonderful B Corp brands:

Jimmy’s Iced Coffee who make delicious… you guessed it, iced coffee among other things! They’re a certified B Corp, as well as being Rainforest Alliance Certified and use endlessly recyclable packaging.

Homethings who produce cleaning products without the plastic waste – they send you the products and you add tap water – simple!

DOISY & DAM LIMITED who make chocolate treats free from palm oil, additives, and E-numbers. And as if that wasn’t awesome enough, they donate 1% of their profits to good causes and are carbon neutral!

At Mando-Connect, we use data from our Partnerships Engine™ to provide our clients with the best partner reward recommendations for their target base, whilst keeping their business KPIs front-of-mind.

I’m keen to hear your thoughts on my take of loyalty programs, and if you’d like to know more about how partnerships can help your business, please reach out.
