This Spotlight is with the fabulous, Emilia Bailey!

What did you study in college and what did you enjoy the most?

I studied Level 3 Graphics & Digital Design at Bucks College Group. I really enjoyed the freedom to express my creativity within the briefs provided. I also loved collaborating with all my peers to create the best outcome possible for the projects.

What are you looking forward to the most about your job?

I am looking forward to meeting new people and making connections. I always find it fun to expand my knowledge so I can also eventually pass it on to others.

What’s a fact about yourself that surprises people?

I think an interesting one is I can do hair. Most of my family’s hair is done by me, and I love learning new hairstyles to try on them. Another fun fact I like to tell people though, is that I can solve a Rubix’s Cube (on a good day).

Where’s your favourite place that you’ve travelled?

New York and Jamaica.

I really enjoyed the city life and New York is one of my favourite places. Jamaica holds such amazing memories for me and my family while also being a part of my heritage. The absolute best times and they are so different!

What’s a dream brand you’d love to work with and why?

I would love to work with either Nike or Universal Music. I really love how Nike advertise, and their campaigns are always entertaining. I am a massive music fan and loads of artist I love are signed to Universal music so it would be a dream to be apart of that.

What did you want to be when you were younger?

I really don’t think I ever stuck to one thing I wanted to be! But most days I would just want to be whoever was on my screen. Whether that be a singer, actress or youtuber.

If you could manifest your future, where would you be in 20 years?

Hopefully still doing something that makes me happy – probably married in a nice house.

If you could do anyone else’s job in this company for a day, whose would you do?

Probable Jess’. I think what she does on the daily is interesting and I think it would be a great learning experience try that for a day.

What has been your biggest achievement / proud of outside of work?

The first thing that comes to mind is passing my driving test. I started lessons as soon as I turned 17 and passed just after my 18th birthday 1st time. I was super proud of myself.

Lastly, if you were a cocktail, which would you be?

Probably a passionfruit martini. Its sweet and fruity while being a nice colour.
