Introducing our 2024 British Loyalty Whitepaper
2024 is a big year for loyalty marketers everywhere. Programme membership and appeal are hitting record highs in Great Britain, programmes are making the front pages of the news and, what was once an almost hidden marketing discipline, now sits at the top table, front and foremost for many of the biggest brands in the country! We are therefore immensely excited to introduce the fourth and latest edition of our British loyalty whitepaper; ‘‘What the British want from Loyalty Programme 4.0’’.
Since 2018, we have tracked loyalty preferences, behaviours, and impact in Great Britain through our ‘What the British Want’ series and the 2024 paper is our most comprehensive study to date. We have seen what impact macro-economic events such as the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis have had on the British consumer and how loyalty programmes have evolved and adapted to cater for these changing wants and needs. This year’s paper aims to help loyalty marketers everywhere to understand what loyalty in Britain really looks like now, what people want and what the best are up to.
We cover a range of important loyalty topics, including:
- Who currently engages with Loyalty programmes and who does not?
- How many Brits are actively using loyalty programmes?
- What types of programmes Brits want?
- How Brits want rewards to make them feel?
- How programmes are using brand partnerships to deliver more for less.
- The impact loyalty membership now has on purchase frequency and spend, brand appeal and recommendation.
