This Spotlight Interview is with our fab Account Executive – Jess Jones.

How did your career in promotions start?

My career in promotions began right here at Mando. It’s incredibly exciting for me because I studied Business Management with a focus on Marketing at Bournemouth University. I’m thrilled to be working for such a successful company alongside such great colleagues.

What product did you last buy because of the promotion?

Cadbury’s (which isn’t surprising given my love for chocolate!)

What did you want to be when you were younger?

When I was younger, I wanted to be a flight attendant because I imagined the job was a magical mix of traveling the world, meeting fascinating people, and, of course, living the high-flying life of glamour.

What has been your biggest achievement/proud of outside of work?

When I turned 18, I went solo traveling around Southeast Asia for two months. It was an amazing experience visiting numerous incredible places and making friends from around the world.

What is your favourite ever promotion?

Cadbury’s Secret Santa was perfect for me as a university student because I could send a gift to my mum without spending any money! The chocolate was so delicious that I ended up buying a bar for myself too.

Where’s your favourite place that you’ve travelled?

It would have to be Bali it is literally a dream.

What song do you know all the words to?

Young Hearts Run Free (a karaoke classic).

What is your food heaven and food hell?

Heaven for me would definitely be sushi! it’s my absolute favourite. Hell, on the other hand, would be oysters they’re just way too salty for my taste.

What’s your favourite life hack?

It’s got to be the Ice Cream Sandwich Hack. Instead of struggling to scoop ice cream onto a cookie, slice a pint of ice cream with the container still on, then peel off the packaging for a perfect ice cream sandwich slice.

If you could do anyone else’s job in this company for a day, whose would you do?

This is a tough choice, but I would have to say Mark. Learning about his role in the company has been fascinating, and it would be great to experience it first-hand for a day.

If you were a cocktail, which would you be?

A margarita, classic and fun bringing a party wherever it goes.
